Top Knot Extensions Return Policy

At Top Knot Extensions, we are committed to providing high-quality hair extensions and tools that meet the highest standards. We understand that sometimes returns are necessary, and we want to make the process as smooth as possible. Please review our return policy below before initiating a return.

Return Policy Overview

We offer store credit only for returned items; no refunds will be issued. Returns must be inititated within 30 days of the purchase date, and all items must be in their original, unused condition to be eligible. Hair extensions must remain unaltered—this means they cannot be washed, worn, cut, colored, or styled. While the netting around the extensions may be removed, the hair itself must remain completely untouched.

Items Eligible for Return

  • Unused, unaltered hair extensions with original packaging
  • Unused tools and accessories in their original packaging
  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the purchase date

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Opened, used, or altered extensions (washed, colored, cut, or styled)
  • Any product that does not meet the return eligibility (e.g., missing packaging or damaged items)
  • Salon packages and training classes
  • Clearance or final sale items

Return Process

To initiate a return, please click HERE or email info@topknotextensions.com with the following information:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable)

Once your return is approved, we will provide you with return instructions. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Once received, your return will be processed within 5-7 business days, and store credit will be issued.

30-Day Factory Defect Warranty

We stand by the quality of our hair extensions. If you believe your extensions have a manufacturing defect, we offer a 30-day factory defect warranty that covers:

  • Excessive shedding
  • Color fading
  • Cuticle misalignment

To qualify for a replacement, you must notify us within 30 days of purchase and return the product within 7 days of your claim approval. If the defect is verified, we will replace the hair at no cost. If not, the hair will be returned to you.

Warranty Void If Hair Is

  • Chemically processed (colored, bleached, or permed)
  • Exposed to spray sunscreen, hard water, or improper haircare products
  • Cut or altered from its original weft

Training Class Cancellation Policy

Training classes are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date if rescheduled at least 7 days in advance. If a class is not rescheduled before the 7-day window, the credit is forfeited.
