We want you to love your new products, but if you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to help. Our return process is quick and easy, and we’ll work with you to ensure you get the perfect match. Please review our policy below to get started and make your return as smooth as possible.
Please note that all approved returns will be issued as store credit only in the form of an online gift card. We do not offer refunds on returns.
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase.
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in the original packaging.
- Hair boxes may be opened and the netting around the hair may be removed, but the bindings around the hair may not be cut.
- A 10% restocking fee will be applied if packaging is damaged or missing.
- Hair extensions may not be washed, used, or altered in any way.
- All non-hair items such as tools and beads must be returned in original condition including packaging.
- Any return that does not meet these requirements will be denied.
- Opened, used, or altered extensions cannot be returned.
- Salon packages and trainings are non-refundable and cannot be returned, as these are considered custom services and products.
- Any items that do not meet return eligibility, such as missing packaging or products that have been damaged after purchase, will not be accepted for return.
- Specially discounted or promotional items are ineligible for return or exchange.
- Products that have been washed, installed, or altered in any way cannot be returned.
- Training classes are non-refundable but can be transferred to another date if canceled at least 7 days prior to the scheduled date. If not rescheduled within this time frame, the credit for the class is forfeited.
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Once your return request is apporoved, you will be sent shipping instructions and a return shipping label.
- Your return will not be processed until it is received and approved.
- Once your return is processed and approved, you will receive store credit for the full value of the returned items.
- Store credit will be issued in the form of an online gift card, to the email that was given at the time of purchase, and can be used on future purchases.
- Store credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded.
At Top Knot Extensions, we take great pride in providing high-quality hair extensions, but we understand that, on rare occasions, manufacturing defects can occur. We stand by our products and are committed to ensuring you receive the best possible experience. That’s why we offer a 30-day factory defect warranty to address any issues related to excessive shedding, premature color fading, or cuticle misalignment. If you believe your extensions have a defect, we have a clear and straightforward process in place to assess the issue and provide a resolution. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
To qualify for a warranty claim, you must:
- Notify us within 30 days of receiving the hair if you suspect a defect.
- You will have 7 days to return the hair to us for inspection.
- If the defect is confirmed upon inspection, we will replace the hair at no cost to you.
- If the hair does not meet the criteria for a defect, it will be sent back to you, and no replacement will be issued.
